Fusion5 is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect specialising in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to join our growing Australian practice. As an award-winning Microsoft Partner, we're looking for a commercially sharp, technically credible individual who thrives at the intersection of business challenge and solution design someone who can win the room and win the deal.
The successful candidate will be part of a friendly, open, and well-supported team, and will have the opportunity to engage with new clients, design and create solutions, and demo them back to clients. We are looking for someone who is innovative and hands-on with all technology offerings in the Microsoft suite, and who can architect solutions that drive real change in our clients' business.
The role is not for the faint hearted! We need a strong player who will:
- Partner with our teams to qualify opportunities, shape solution strategy, and lead the technical pursuit across complex F&O deals
- Lead discovery workshops and client facilitation sessions to define business requirements, surface pain points, and translate them into compelling solution narratives that resonate at both operational and executive level
- Design and present scalable, industry-standard F&O solution architectures that address client requirements across supply chain, finance, and operations
- Develop and deliver polished demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and business value propositions tailored to each client's context
- Own functional responses to RFI/RFP tenders, coordinating input from delivery, ISV partners, and Microsoft where required
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them toward sound technology decisions with confidence and credibility
What you'll bring
As a senior voice in every engagement, you'll be expected to guide and mentor those around you whether that's coaching Fusion5 delivery consultants through complex functional scenarios or helping client-side project teams build confidence and capability with the solution. This means setting a high bar for quality and creating an environment where both internal and client team members feel supported to grow. Your ability to elevate the people around you are just as important to us as your ability to deliver.
- 8 -10+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O Supply Chain, with strong functional depth across Finance and Supply Chain
- Deep hands-on expertise across SCM modules including warehouse management, inventory, procurement, master planning, transportation management, and production control
- A proven track record in a pre-sales, solution advisory, or architecture role you know how to position a solution, not just build one
- Proven experience as consultant in past delivery projects
- The ability to engage confidently at C-suite and senior stakeholder level, and adapt your message accordingly
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality tender responses and solution documentation
- Broad familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem and how F&O integrates within it
- Experience with D365 Commerce is highly regarded but not essential
- Microsoft certifications in your domain are desirable
